Japan Day at Nottingham High Junior School

copyright Nottingham Evening Post

We organised a Japan Day at Nottingham High Junior School.  This is one of our activities; we introduce Japanese culture to the children in UK.  Nine volunteers went to the school and did various activities such as Origami, Calligraphy, Kimono, Ninja, Japanese language, History/Geography, sushi making and Japanese taiko drumming. Their year 3 and year 5 boys enjoyed the day and leaned a little more about Japan.

Many thanks to Mr Earnshaw, a headmaster and Miss Walster, who organised the day for us.
