We were offered a stall at Green Festival in Nottingham in May. It was a short notice. We had only three days to organise but managed to pull our sleeves up and sold 1600 sushi and 100 onigiri with other food like hijiki, daikon salad and seaweed salad.

Another event was a corporate event. Our team below introduced Japanese culture including Origami, Calligraphy, Manga and Japanese drumming to 70 school children aged between 11 and 16. Our paper plane competition was really fun! Even teachers were very serious and tried to win!

Robert Gilhooly, a Tokyo based photo journalist, helped us deliver some of the letters written by the children in UK to Sendai. We hope that the letters will reach as many children as possible. Big 'thank you' to Chigusa and Miho for translation. You cannot read these letters without tears.
